Hola people! It's time for the real midterm test. I was so nervous and alhamdulillah the test was going smoothly. The questions are not too easy and not too difficult. I hope that my classmates and I can get best mark for the test. And now it's time for going home! Happy holiday, friends. Till then, goodbye!

Hola people! Miss Zu gave back the pre test midterm paper that we have done yesterday. My group got 7.25 over 10 . We're so frustrated that we thought we could get 8 and above :( But it's okay since we have done our best.

After giving back the paper , Miss Zu wanted us to do the non-linear text question individually so that we can know our level. Since the real test is on Friday, so we don't have enough time to do many activities. I hope that we can make it on this Friday. Good luck to my dearest classmates ;) Till then, good bye.

Monday 4-02-2013

Hola people ! Today Miss Zu wanted us to do the pre-test of BEL 260's midterm because we will sit the real midterm exam on this Friday. Miss gave the past year question and she explained and reminds to us how to answer those questions. Next, Miss Zu separated us into 5 groups and I was grouped with Maizatul, Farah and Syaz. We were asked to answer about non-linear text. I am the 3rd writer. 3 minutes were given to discuss among the members and 6 minutes for each other to answer that question. After that, Has and Tiqa continued their previous presentation. They made a game that is 'rebut kerusi' and who didn't get the chair have to answer a question . It was very fun and best activity that we have today. Till then, goodbye.

Hola people . It's already February. Today is Friday and it's grammar time . This time was Hasyimah and Atiqah 's group's turn to present about grammar . They presented about SIMPLE PRESENT AND PAST TENSE.

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Simple present tense expresses general statements of fact and general truths . It is used to express habitual or everyday activities .It is also indicates that an action is happening right now or that the action is either routine or factual.

SIMPLE PAST TENSE

Simple past tense usually means that this action ended in the past . It can be used for most past actions and we can use it for :

action that happened quickly
actions that happened over time
actions that were habits in the past .

Tuesday - 29-01-2013

Hola people . It's Tuesday and yesterday didn't have BEL 260's class due to Thaipusam . And we were asked to pass up the introductory paragraph about HUMAN TRAFFICKING . Let me tell you about introductory paragraph that i have done .

Human trafficking is a crime against humanity . It involves an act of recruiting , transporting , transferring , harbouring or receiving a person through a use of force , or other mean , for the purpose of exploiting them . Every year , thousands of women fall into the hand of traffickers in their own countries and abroad . Every country in the world is affected by trafficking whether as a country of origin, transit , or destination for victims . Woman trafficking will give a lot of negative impacts to individual , community and also country . The negative impacts are the victims may be detained or deported for immigration violations , face prosecution for other criminal offense, affects the societies from which victims are removed resulting in cultural and economic losses and threatening public health .

Next , it's the time to present about non-linear text . We are the first group to present and we made alot of mistakes -..- Miss Zu gave us another chance to redo the non-linear text . And I would like to thank to my group members that give a lot of ideas to redo the exercise. Till then , goodbye

Hola people ! Guess what we gonna do today ? We're watching Taken . Taken is a 2008 French action thriller film co-written and produced by Luc Besson , starring Liam Neeson , Maggie Grace , and Famkee Janssen . Neeson plays a former US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative who sets about tracking down his daughter after she is kidnapped by human traffickers while travelling in France with her cousin .

At the end of the movie , we have to produce an introductory paraghraph about main topic based on the movie Taken . We have to write about HUMAN TRAFFICKING and pass it up on next Tuesday . Do you know what is human trafficking ? I'll share it with you in the next entry . Till then , goodbye :)

Monday 21-01-2013 ( Replacement class )

In the night , we had a replacement class for Friday and last two week's Friday class and it was grammar time . Actually there was 3 groups will present but since Has and Tiqa didn't come , just two groups presented .

First group , Asmidah and Farah , they presented about PRESENT AND PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE .
Here are some simple example for easier to understand about present and past continuous tense .

For the second group was Amirah Izzati and Fatin Izzati . They presented about PRESENT AND PAST PERFECT TENSE .

We use the present perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now.
